6/4/2023 0 Comments Massage maps tucson az![]() The outdoor seating area (2 lounges and 2 tables) did have heaters above so you could sit outside comfortably in all seasons. Granted, there was a row of tall hedges separating the outside area from the car park, but it was impossible to ignore it. The hot tub was a sad affair surrounded by concrete and one miserable plant…facing the parking lot. The outside area: this is where the spa REALLY fell flat (especially compared to what I am used to in Palm Springs). The Red Door is so small that it seems unlikely they wouldn’t be able to find me for my appointment if I was sitting outside 20 feet away! But this repeated instruction had the gravity of possibly upending the whole operation for the day if not followed closely! This I found strange as I prefer to sit outside. I was told repeatedly to be in this room 10 minutes before my treatment. The ‘relaxation room’ was small and windowless but not overly hot (as some reviewer commented), but comfortable and provided fresh fruit and water. The sarong they provided if I wanted to use it in the steam/sauna was an embarrassment. The robes were lovely as well (someone complained about them in an earlier review-they are lovely). The facilities: this is where I expect the luxury to kind of thread my services together like an indulgent ribbon for the day. I gave up and they maybe lost a sale for it. I wandered over to the shop section of the spa but had no idea of what I was looking for…and no one offered to help. But it’s nice to have if I want to purchase something. Sometimes I purchase something often I don’t. I am used to leaving with little note of what was done during the facial, the specific products used, and recommendations for purchase. ![]() I’d advise to make the request when booking if this is important to you. I was not a major deal, but perhaps for others it may have been. Red Door hadn’t asked when I made the appointment and I didn’t even realize that until my (male) therapist called my name in the waiting room. In any other spa visit they have always asked at booking whether I prefer a male or female therapist. The only surprise I had was that I had a male massage therapist. My therapist asked in advance for areas to focus on and checked in with me regularly about the pressure. I asked for a little more pressure and got it. How bad could it be, right? Not bad at all! I had seen reviews online at Trip Advisor for Red Door and I wasn’t impressed with what I read, but I booked an appointment: a 50 minute massage and a facial. For the most part Red Door delivered on my expectations, but fell short on a few. ![]() My modus operandi is to schedule 2 treatments in a day, separated by enough time for me to enjoy the sauna, steam room, hot tub, and possibly have lunch. I am used to annual spa visits for Christmas and look for: excellent service, fabulous massage and facials, excellent amenities, and lovely and relaxing surroundings. Overall I had a nice experience and I may return. While visiting family in Tucson, I booked a spa day at Red Door, so this review is for Red Door spa only and not the hotel. ![]()

![]() ![]() For starters, make sure you have the right recognition language selected. I can’t recognize a business card! What am I doing wrong? You can scan the flip side of the card, and all printed text will be recognized and saved as a comment to the business card, along with the date and time it was scanned. What do I do if someone gives me a double-sided business card? Ok, that makes sense, let’s move on to Optical Character Recognition (OCR). We are constantly monitoring requests for languages that we get through technical support and other channels. We generally initiate the development of a new library after we receive several thousand requests for a specific language. Before embarking on such a task, we need to see that there is enough demand for the language to be sure that we can recoup the development costs. Is adding just a couple of new languages really a problem?Ĭreating a language library for BCR takes hundreds of hours. While our other apps such as FineScanner support 193 languages, BCR is only available with this custom library support for 26 languages at this time. It contains libraries that allow it to determine that New York is a city, Jacob is a name, and manager is a position and does this for every supported language. Unlike FineScanner and TextGrabber, which produce regular text for the most part, BCR has to match captured data to a variety of different fields in contact forms. Why does Business Card Reader have fewer languages than your other apps? It will help you with the first setup for business card recognition. If you’re new to BCR and don’t know where to start, see this manual for iOS, and this manual for Andriod. What’s more, BCR iOS allows sharing contacts via QR-codes – contactless and safely. Imagine finding yourself out of business cards when talking to someone, just scan their card, and you will instantly be able to send them a short thank-you message with a digital version of your card using BCR iOS. Unlike their paper counterparts, digital business cards don’t get lost, crumpled or damaged: even if you break or lose your device, the sync feature will let you restore all your contacts. Captured business cards can be grouped by tags, so if you attend a conference (when that's possible again), you can make a tag for all the contacts you gained at the event. Business Card Reader saves you the hassle of carrying around dozens of little bits of paper and typing in contacts by hand, by recognizing contact data and saving contacts to Cardholder or your smartphone’s Contacts app. It’s available for iOS, Android and also has a web version to use on a PC. Do I really need this app now?īusiness Card Reader is a tool for scanning business cards and managing contacts. To make your work with business cards and contacts easier, learn more about ABBYY Business Card Reader (BCR) and what it can do. Even so, not much has changed – paper business cards are still widely used to exchange contact information. In 2008, we launched the first Business Card Reader, which ran on the then-popular Symbian operating system. ![]() 6/4/2023 0 Comments The monster within degraded![]() ![]() The modern MonsterVerse movies focus more on climate change and ecosystem degradation. The mutated monster was created to mirror the monstrous nature of nuclear devastation, but as that message became less and less topical, these anti-nuclear themes fell to the wayside in favor of environmental issues more present in audiences' minds. Since she was in the midst of suffering from the intense spice, Brown simply answered the latter without elaborating further other than to say " Cheers to that" while toasting with a milkshake.Įver since his first film appearance in 1954, Godzilla has been used as an environmental metaphor for communicating a certain message to the public, though that message has evolved over time. This leads to a battle between the giant lizard and Kong, with Mechagodzilla even making an appearance. With the help of her friend Josh Valentine (Julian Dennison) and Apex technician Bernie Hayes (Brian Tyree Henry), Madison begins to investigate the corrupt multinational corporation and the reason behind Godzilla's erratic behavior. In the film, Madison is the first to suspect there may be an ulterior motive behind Godzilla suddenly attacking the Apex Cybernetics facility in Pensacola. RELATED: Relive Shax’s finest hour in our recap for Lower Decks season 3’s “The Stars at Night.” PICARD: I offer you the chance to touch what he shared with me. For this reason, “The Black Mountain” can be considered synonymous with the Trek convention of resurrected bridge crew members. Prior to his death, Spock had mind-melded with McCoy to transfer his katra, apparently intending for his longtime friend and sparring partner to return it to Vulcan and perhaps be fully regenerated in the fal-tor-pan or refusion process, conducted for the first time in generations. “You do know about the Black Mountain, right?” begins Shax before continuing with a horrifyingly in-depth explanation. Cleveland Book Booker learned the same when President T’Rina explored his mind following Kwejian’s annihilation in Discovery’s fourth season. Spock remained to work with the Romulan underground and in 2369, helped arrange the defection of Romulan vice-proconsul M'Ret to the Federation to pioneer an escape. Later, he can’t resist asking Shax how he returned from the dead. The incident has inspired renewed confidence in the security officer, but as Spock warned, the mind meld they shared was not a shortcut for dealing with mental trauma. On the same trip he was saddened to hear of the death of his father, Sarek, but Picard's presence allowed Spock a final last solace thanks to an earlier Picard-Sarek mind meld. ![]() Shax ( Fred Tatasciore), Mariner and Boimler agree: “Bridge crew always come back.”īut Ensign Samanthan Rutherford ( Eugene Cordero) isn’t satisfied with that answer. ![]() In Star Trek, death is not always the final frontier!
